SUB-GROUP CONSIDERS PUPIL PROFILE
At its meeting on Friday 12 January 2007, the Programme for Government Committee’s sub-group on Schools Admission Policy considered the key issues arising out of its work on the pupil profile.
The sub-group examined and debated issues such as the relevance for parents and pupils; the content; manageability for schools and teachers; the cost and delivery of the ITC solution and the timetable for introduction.
The sub-group previously heard from a wide range of key stakeholders and also considered written evidence from interested parties.
The sub-group plans to meet again on Tuesday 16 January 2007 to consider its report to the Committee on the Programme for Government.
