CHRISTMAS RECESS DATES

The Business Committee agreed at its meeting on 5 December that the House should rise at close of business on Friday, 22 December and should return on Wednesday, 3 January 2007.

ARRANGEMENTS FOR THE PURCHASE OF
THE OFFICIAL CHRISTMAS CARDS FOR 2006

The official Christmas cards are available this year for purchase in the Gift Shop from Tuesday 12 December. The Cards will be available in packs of 10 (including envelopes) at a cost of £3.50 per pack.

Please note that Royal Mail’s latest recommended posting dates for Christmas Cards and letters are:

Special Delivery:

Thursday

21 December

First Class:

Tuesday

19 December

Second Class:

Saturday

16 December

Western Europe Airmail:

Wednesday

13 December

USA/Canada Airmail:

Rest of the World Airmail:

Friday

8 December

Members should note that any costs incurred from the purchase of Christmas Cards should not be claimed from Office Cost Allowance.
