1. Consideration of Draft Report
on the Inquiry into Residential and Secure Accommodation for Children in Northern
Ireland
The Committee deliberated.
Agreed:
-
The Committee was satisfied with
the draft structure, save that an Executive Summary be added.

Members will forward minor amendments
to the Assistant Clerk and substantive changes to the Clerk for consideration
at the additional Committee meeting scheduled for 2.00 pm on Tuesday, 21 November
for further deliberation on the Report.

The Clerk will inform the Business
Office of the Committee's aim to have the Report debated in the Assembly on 12
December.

The Chairman will raise at the next
Statutory Committee Chairpersons' Liaison meeting the matter of the public's access
to written evidence that is not printed as part of a Committee report.

The next meeting will be at 2.00
pm on Wednesday, 15 November 2000
in Room 135, Parliament Buildings.
The meeting ended at 3.35 pm.
