1. Chairperson's business
Mr Campbell arrived at 10.15am and Dr McDonnell arrived at 10.17am
Mr Neeson reported on a Liaison Group meeting he attended earlier. He advised that the meeting covered a number of issues including accommodation, dual membership of Committees, meetings outside Parliament Buildings, travel budgets, and liaising with government departments. Regarding the travel budget for Committees, the Committee endorsed Mr Neeson's view that, on visits abroad, the Committee should travel economy class.
2. Apologies
Apologies were received from Ms J Morrice.
Mr McClarty joined the meeting at 10.38am and Mr Clyde joined the meeting at 10.46am
3. Evidence session - Northern Ireland Committee Irish Congress of Trade Unions
The Northern Ireland Committee gave evidence, in public, to the Committee on its inquiry into Strategy 2010.
Mr Campbell left the meeting at 11.36am
4. Evidence session - Institute of Directors
The Institute of Directors gave evidence, in public, to the Committee on its inquiry into Strategy 2010.
Mr Neeson left the meeting at 12.05pm
Mr McClarty left the meeting at 12.14pm

The next meeting of the Committee will be held on Wednesday 5 July 2000 at 10.00am in Room 144.
