The Committee met at 10.07am in private session.

The Chairman welcomed the members to the tenth meeting of the Standards and Privileges Committee

The Chairman reminded members of their obligation to declare any relevant pecuniary or other interests before and during each committee meeting.

The Committee adopted the minutes of proceedings of the meeting of

9 November 2000. (Proposed: Sir J Gorman, Seconded Dr I Adamson)

The Committee discussed key issues relating to their inquiry into the possible appointment of an Assembly Commissioner for Standards and directed the Clerk to draft a report.

To be arranged by the Clerk in due course.

The meeting concluded at 11.12am.
