Proposed: That this Assembly approves the first Report of the Committee for Health, Social Services and Public Safety on residential and secure accommodation for children in Northern Ireland and calls on the Minister of Health, Social Services and Public Safety to implement the Committee's recommendations at the earliest opportunity.

Proposed: That this Assembly notes the serious economic and environmental implications the aggregates tax will have on the quarry and construction industry in Northern Ireland and calls upon the Minister of Enterprise, Trade and Investment and the Minister of Finance and Personnel to make representations to the UK Treasury on behalf of the Quarry Producers Association to prevent the introduction of this tax in this region.
