MINUTES OF PROCEEDINGS OF THE HEALTH, SOCIAL SERVICES AND PUBLIC SAFETY COMMITTEE AT 10.30AM ON THURSDAY, 26 SEPTEMBER 2002 IN THE SENATE CHAMBER, PARLIAMENT BUILDINGS Present: Apologies: In Attendance: Dr Hendron took the Chair at 10.30am. Chairman's Opening Remarks The Chairman re-emphasized the importance of members' ensuring that a quorum is maintained throughout all meetings, in order to facilitate the smooth running of the Committee's busy work programme and to maintain the integrity of the system. Inquiry into Child Protection Services: Oral Evidence Southern Area Child Protection Committee Witnesses: Mrs Courtney and Mr Hamilton joined the meeting at 10.47am and 11.00am respectively.
