The meeting opened, in public, at 11.20am

1. Public evidence session - presentation by Dairy Crest plc regarding the recent closure of Fermanagh Creameries in Lisnaskea, Co Fermanagh

1.1 Representatives from Dairy Crest plc gave a presentation to the Committee on the circumstances surrounding the recent closure of the Fermanagh Creameries plant. The presentation was followed by a question and answer session.

2. Public evidence session - presentation by S Morrice Associates Ltd and Priority Oil & Gas LLC with regard to the Committee's Inquiry into Energy.

2.1 Ms S Morrice and Ms R Gries gave a presentation to the Committee on the progress of the consortium's exploration of natural gas in Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland. The presentation was followed by a question and answer session.

Ms J Morrice declared an interest as Ms S Morrice's sister and declined to put any questions to the witnesses.

3. Any other business

3.1 Agreed - draft press release regarding the presentation by Dairy Crest.

3.2 The Chairperson reported that he had issued a press release in support of the Minister's statement on his "European Marketing Campaign".

4. Next meeting

4.1 The next meeting of the Committee will be held on Monday 19 February at 11.00am in Room 135.
