APN 09/01 22 NOVEMBER 2001 PUBLICATION OF REPORTS OF EXAMINER OF STATUTORY RULES ON WEBSITE The First Report of the Examiner of Statutory Rules to the Assembly and the appropriate Committees, dated 15 November 2001, is available on the website. This is the first report of the Examiner under the new arrangements recently adopted by the appropriate Committees. The Examiner's website home page has useful links to relevant sites, including the Joint Committee on Statutory Instruments at Westminster, the Subordinate Legislation Committee of the Scottish Parliament and the Legislation Committee of the National Assembly for Wales. COMMONWEALTH PARLIAMENTARY ASSOCIATION There will be a meeting of the Executive Committee of the Northern Ireland Assembly Branch of the Commonwealth Parliamentary Association on 3 December 2001 at 4.00 pm in the End Reading Room of the Library. CAROL SERVICE - PARLIAMENT BUILDINGS A Carol Service will be held in the Senate Chamber, Parliament Buildings at 1.00 pm on Wednesday 12 December 2001. The Service will last approximately 40 minutes. Members and staff are welcome to attend. COMMEMORATION CEREMONY Memorial inscriptions in memory of the late Senator Jack Barnhilll and the late Senator Paddy Wilson will be unveiled in the Senate Rotunda on Wednesday 12 December 2001 at 11.00 am. Representatives from both the Barnhill and Wilson families will be in attendance. All members are invited to attend. ASSEMBLY CHRISTMAS CARDS Two official Assembly Christmas Cards are available this year and can be viewed in the Business Office (Room 32). Costs are as follows:
A limited number of last year's cards will also be sold, at £2.50 per pack of 10, while stocks last. Overprinting is not available on these cards.
