21 MARCH 2002 APN 20/01 ALL PARTY NOTICES COMMONWEALTH PARLIAMENTARY ASSOCIATION Members of the Northern Ireland Assembly Branch of the Commonwealth Parliamentary Association may wish to note the visit of Hon Denis Marshall QSO, Secretary-General of the Commonwealth Parliamentary Association on Monday 8 April 2002. During his visit he will address a special meeting of the Northern Ireland Assembly Branch of the Commonwealth Parliamentary Association in the end Reading Room of the Library at 12.15 pm followed by lunch in the Private Dining Room. PARLIAMENT BUILDINGS - ACCESS OVER THE EASTER PERIOD OPENING HOURS The following arrangements will apply for the period 23 March to 7 April 2002 inclusive. *Alcohol served from 11.30 - 19.00 These arrangements will be monitored throughout the recess period and, according to demand, may be adjusted. INTERNAL TELEVISION SYSTEM To facilitate upgrading the Assembly's internal television distribution system, the service will not operate on Monday 25 March 2002. It will resume on a phased basis from 26 March 2002. Contact extension 21833 if there are any difficulties. ROD STEWART - TICKETS Members are advised that a concert by Rod Stewart will be held in the Stormont Estate on the evening of Saturday 27 July 2002. A limited number of seated (£45) and standing (£35) tickets will be available for purchase on a first come, first served basis from the Events Co-ordination Office, Room B2, (Tel: 90 (5)21948 or 90 (5)21362) from 8 April. A limit of 6 seated tickets per person will apply. Tickets will be held for 5 days pending receipt of payment. If the 5 days elapse without payment the tickets become available for booking again. Payment will be by cash or cheque only.
