The meeting opened at 2.00 pm in public session.

There were no apologies.
2. Evidence Session on the Northern Ireland Audit Office Report ‘The Pre-school Education Expansion Programme’.
Mr Roy Beggs declared an interest as he is currently on the board of governors at Glynn Primary School and a committee member for Horizon Sure Start.
The Chairperson declared an interest as a result of an immediate family member being employed by Sure Start and that he is a director of the Andersonstown Community Forum.
Mr Craig declared an interest as he is currently on the board of governors at both Harmony Hill and Killowen Primary Schools.

The Committee took oral evidence on the above report from:

- Ms Linda Wilson, Director of Families and Communities, Department of Education

2.35 pm Mr Craig and Mr Hilditch left the meeting.
2:50 pm Mr Hilditch entered the meeting.
3.02 pm Mr McGlone left the meeting.
3:03 pm Mr Dallat and Mr Shannon left the meeting.
3:04 pm Mr Dallat entered the meeting.
3:06 pm Mr Lunn left the meeting.
3:19 pm Mr McGlone and Mr Shannon entered the meeting.
3:20 pm Mr Donaldson left the meeting.
3:24 pm Mr Donaldson entered the meeting.

The witnesses answered a number of questions put by the Committee.
