Amendment 1:

Proposed: Delete all after 'that' and insert:

'the Second Stage of the Strategic Investment and Regeneration of Sites Bill be not agreed because the powers to be conferred are already available to the Department for Social Development under statute and because the Department for Social Development is recognised as the department responsible for major regeneration activities. Furthermore, it is inappropriate to establish a Strategic Investment Board through this legislation prior to the outcome of the Review of Public Administration.'
