2.1 Statement – Review of the Construction Industry Training Board
The Minister for Employment and Learning, Sir Reg Empey, made a statement to the Assembly regarding the outcome of the Review of the Construction Industry Training Board, following which he replied to questions.
3. Executive Committee Business
3.1 Final Stage – Rates (Amendment) Bill (NIA 2/09)
The Minister of Finance and Personnel, Mr Sammy Wilson, moved that the Final Stage of the Rates (Amendment) Bill be agreed.
Debate ensued.
NIA Bill (2/09) passed Final Stage.
3.2 Consideration Stage – Education Bill (NIA 3/08)
The Minister of Education, Ms Catriona Ruane, did not move the Consideration Stage.
The sitting was suspended at 11.54am.
The sitting resumed at 1.30pm.
