2.1 Motion - Maternity and Parental Leave etc. and the Paternity and Adoption Leave (Amendment) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2008
Proposed: That the Maternity and Parental Leave etc. and the Paternity and Adoption Leave (Amendment) Regulations ( Northern Ireland) 2008 be approved. [Minister for Employment and Learning]

3.1 Motion - Post-Primary Transfer
Proposed: That this Assembly calls on the Minister of Education to end the uncertainty facing parents and teachers of children in Primary 6 by continuing with the existing post-primary transfer test until a replacement is designed and piloted by CCEA.

Proposed: Leave out all after ‘Primary 6’ and insert:
‘by clarifying details of the proposed temporary post-primary transfer test, until new transfer arrangements are agreed by this Assembly.’

Proposed: Leave out all after ‘Primary 6’ and insert:
‘by presenting to the Executive the papers needed to advance change and avoid the dangers of deregulation; and calls on all parties to show due consideration, responsibility and urgency in the delivery of a sustainable outcome for the schools system which can be defined by both equality and excellence.’

Proposed: That this Assembly calls for funding for a new regional hospital for women and children; and calls upon the Minister of Health, Social Services and Public Safety to provide a timetable for the commencement and completion of the project.
