2.1 Statement - Reorganisation of the Health and Social Care System in Northern Ireland

The Minister of Health, Social Services and Public Safety, Mr Michael McGimpsey, made a statement to the Assembly regarding proposals for the reorganisation of the health and social care system in Northern Ireland, following which he replied to questions.

2.2 Statement - Re-establishment of the Ministerial Sub-Committee on Children and Young People

The junior Minister, Mr Ian Paisley Junior, made a statement to the Assembly regarding the re-establishment of the Ministerial Sub-Committee on Children and Young People, following which the junior Minister, Mr Gerry Kelly, replied to questions.

3. Committee Business
3.1 Motion - Report of the Ad Hoc Committee on the draft Sexual Offences (Northern Ireland) Order 2007

Proposed: That the Report of the Ad Hoc Committee set up to consider the draft Sexual Offences (Northern Ireland) Order 2007, should be submitted to the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland as a Report of the Northern Ireland Assembly.

Proposed: That this Assembly calls for an immediate end to the existence of private armies.

‘notes the most recent report by the Independent Monitoring Commission on the activities of illegal organisations; calls for their disbandment; and further calls for full co-operation on all crimes by all in the community.’
