2. Executive Committee Business
2.1 Statement – October Monitoring Outcome
The Rt Hon Peter Robinson, Minister of Finance and Personnel, made a statement to the Assembly regarding public expenditure in 2007-08 after the October monitoring round, following which he replied to questions.
2.2 Motion – Accelerated passage Children (Emergency Protection Orders) Bill NIA 6/07
Proposed:That the Children (Emergency Protection Orders) Bill proceed under the accelerated passage procedure, in accordance with Standing Order 40(4).

Debate ensued.
The Question being put, the Motion was carried with cross-community support nemine contradicente.
2.3 Second Stage – Children (Emergency Protection Orders) Bill (NIA 6/07)
Mr Michael McGimpsey, Minister of Health, Social Services and Public Safety, moved that the Second Stage of the Children (Emergency Protection Orders) Bill (NIA 6/07) be agreed.
Debate ensued.
NIA Bill 6/07 passed Second Stage.
3. Private Members’ Business
3.1 Motion – Management of the Fisheries Conservancy Board
Proposed: That this Assembly calls on the Minister of Culture, Arts and Leisure to appoint a commissioner, or senior civil servant, to manage the Fisheries Conservancy Board in an effective manner, until legislation is made to provide for his department to take over the running of the Board.

3.2 Amendment
Proposed: Leave out all after ‘Leisure’ and insert:
‘to assist the Fisheries Conservancy Board in its management, and calls on the Executive to bring forward legislation abolishing the Fisheries Conservancy Board and transferring its responsibility to the Department of Culture, Arts and Leisure as a matter of urgency.’
