COMMITTEE RELEASES SUMMARY OF LEGAL ADVICE ON SECTION 44 REQUEST FOR GIANT’S CAUSEWAY PAPERS

The Committee for the Environment has issued a summary of the legal advice relating to the request for the release of papers by the Department of the Environment on the Giant’s Causeway planning application.

The summary sets out the background to the request and a summary of the legal advice provided to the Committee under Section 44 of the Northern Ireland Act 1998.
