COMMITTEE FOR ENVIRONMENT VISIT LOUGH NEAGH DISCOVERY CENTRE
The Northern Ireland Assembly Committee for the Environment is holding an external meeting at the Lough Neagh Discovery Centre on Thursday 21 January 2010. The Committee will take evidence from the Northern Ireland Environmental Agency who will be answering questions on their financial plans and the reasons for planned cuts to funding for the Lough Neagh and Lower Bann Advisory Committees. The Committee will also hear evidence on an independent review produced by the Northern Ireland Marine Task force which identifies savings and efficiency recommendations on a range of marine activities.
