COMMITTEE FOR THE ENVIRONMENT TO CHALLENGE MINISTER
ON DELAYS TO REVIEW OF PUBLIC ADMINISTRATION

The Northern Ireland Assembly Committee for the Environment will hold a public meeting on Thursday, 3 December 2009 in the Senate, Parliament Buildings at 10.30am.

The Committee will take evidence from the Minister of the Environment on the impact of delays to the Review of Public Administration.

BACKGROUND

The Committee recently completed the Committee Stage of the Local Government (Miscellaneous Provisions) Bill which makes provision for the formation of Statutory Transition Committees to manage the transition from 26 to 11 councils.
