The meeting opened, in public, at 10.35am
1. Public evidence session - Banbridge District Council
The witnesses from the Council gave evidence, in public, to the Committee on its inquiry into Strategy 2010. The Council gave their views on Strategy 2010 and answered a number of questions put by the Committee.
Top2. Public evidence session - Sinn Fein
The Chairperson and Dr O'Hagan both declared an interest as members of Sinn Fein and did not take part in the discussions. The Chairperson stood down as Chair of the Committee for this session. Ms Morrice took the Chair - proposed by Dr McDonnell and seconded by Mr Attwood.
The witnesses from Sinn Fein gave evidence, in public, to the Committee on its inquiry into Strategy 2010. They gave their views on Strategy 2010 and answered a number of questions put by the Committee.

Mr Doherty resumed the Chair at 12.05pm.

The Chairperson reported that both he and the Deputy Chair were meeting the Minister on Wednesday 11 October to discuss the Department's bids in the 2000 Spending Review.
