PUBLIC CONSULTATION
INQUIRY INTO TOURISM
The Northern Ireland Assembly's Committee for Enterprise, Trade and Investment has announced that tourism will be the subject of its next inquiry.
The terms of reference for this inquiry are -
- To consider the marketing of Northern Ireland as a tourist destination in the new dispensation and assess the potential for industry partnerships.
- To identify the potential for product development and product integration appropriate to Northern Ireland's tourist market segments.
- To assess the economic potential for the Tourism Industry in Northern Ireland as a region coming out of a state of conflict.
- To report findings to the Assembly, the Department and/or others.
Any organisation or individual with an interest is invited to submit written evidence by e-mail (in the format MS Word) to the Committee on any or all of the matters covered by the terms of reference. A short guide on submitting written evidence is available from the Committee Clerk.
