COMMITTEE FOR CULTURE ARTS AND LEISURE TO MEET IN ARMAGH

The Committee for Culture, Arts and Leisure will hold a meeting in the Market Place Theatre & Arts Centre, Armagh on Thursday 13 March 2008 at 10.30 a.m. This will be followed by a visit to the Armagh Planetarium and the Armagh Observatory.

Mr Barry McElduff MLA, the Committee Chairperson said:

“The Committee for Culture, Arts and Leisure is delighted to hold this meeting in a location outside Stormont, Parliament Buildings, and, for the first time, the Committee will have the opportunity to meet representatives from the Armagh Observatory and Planetarium and to see first hand the refurbishment which took place in 2006”.

The Committee is very much looking forward to visiting the Market Place Theatre & Arts Centre and have a tour of the Armagh Planetarium and the Armagh Observatory.

I would like to take this opportunity to remind local groups and individuals that the meeting is open to the public and everyone is welcome to attend the meeting”.
