5. Matters arising from minutes, Wednesday 02 February 2000

Members sought clarification on the outcome of the motion carried on 2 February 2000 and Standing Order 45 was referred to. Following further debate Dr McDonnell proposed that the Committee should adjourn until on Wednesday 16 February 2000, to receive clarity and guidance from the Committee of Standards and Privileges on how the Committee should proceed with business in the meantime. Mrs Bell seconded the proposal. It was put to the vote and carried by a majority of members.

The Committee will meet on Wednesday 16 February 2000 at 2.00pm in the Senate Chamber, Parliament Buildings.

The Chairperson concluded business at 2.25pm.
