CHANGE TO CHRISTMAS RECESS DATES 2008-2009

At its meeting on 2 December 2008, the Business Committee agreed to defer the start of the Christmas Recess by one sitting day. Revised details are set out below.

CHRISTMAS CAROL SERVICE

The annual Christmas Carol Service, hosted by the Speaker, will be held on Thursday 11 December 2008 at 12.30pm in the Great Hall, Parliament Buildings. The Assembly Choir, which includes MLAs, support staff and secretariat staff, will be providing the musical accompaniment for the Service. The Speaker would be delighted if as many MLAs as possible would join him for this festive occasion. Light hospitality will be served in the Senate Rotunda following the Service.
