Electronic Tabling Of Assembly Questions
From Monday 12 May 2008 the Business Office will accept the tabling of Assembly Questions by e-mail, as agreed by the Business Committee at its meeting on Tuesday 6 May 2008.
Questions by e-mail should be sent to members.questions@niassembly.gov.uk
E-mailed questions will be accepted from:
- a Member’s e-mail account (within Parliament Buildings);
- a Member’s e-mail account (constituency office);
- a Member’s personal computer; and
- an e-mail account belonging to a nominated person of a Member’s/Party’s support staff.
Members and/or their support staff should let staff in the Business Office know which
e-mail accounts they wish to use for this purpose. Only e-mailed questions from these agreed accounts will be accepted.

Committee For Culture, Arts And Leisure
The Committee for Culture, Arts and Leisure is sponsoring a demonstration by Karate-Do-Wado-Kai on Thursday 15 May 2008.
This will be held in the Long Gallery commencing at 1.00 p.m. The demonstration will last for 20-25 minutes.
Participants will include 9 to 14 year olds and adults. The team taking part will be participating in the Wado World Cup in Vancouver in August 2008 – this includes a 10 year old (Craig Ryan) who is currently British Youth Champion and Scottish Open Champion. A Northern Ireland Senior international will also be taking part - James Brunton (21) is currently British Champion.
All Members are invited to attend.
