The meeting commenced at 10.29pm in Open Session
The Chairperson expressed his appreciation for the best wishes he had received in his capacity as the new Chairperson of the Committee. The Chairperson and Members recorded their thanks and appreciation to Dr William McCrea in his capacity as former Chair of the Committee.
The Chairperson and Members welcomed Patsy McGlone to the Committee.

2. Presentation – Northern Bank Ltd.
Stephen Bloomfield and John Henning, Northern Bank Ltd., joined the meeting at 10.35am and made a presentation regarding Northern Bank’s dealings with the agricultural industry. Following the presentation, Members put questions.

3. Presentation – Ulster Bank Ltd.
Cormac McKervey and Richard Ramsey, Ulster Bank Ltd., joined the meeting at 11.26am and made a presentation regarding Ulster Bank’s dealings with the agricultural industry. Following the presentation, Members put questions.
The representatives left the meeting at 12.03pm

4. Presentation – First Trust Bank Ltd.
Larry Gollogy, First Trust Bank Ltd., joined the meeting at 1.10pm and made a presentation regarding First Trust Bank’s dealings with the agricultural industry. Following the presentation, Members put questions.

The Committee noted the invitation to the launch event of the Tesco Taste Northern Ireland Show 2009 on 11 September 2009.

The next Committee meeting will be held on Tuesday 8 September 2009 at 1.30pm in Room 152, Parliament Buildings.
