ASSEMBLY COMMITTEE FOR JUSTICE MEETING
ON REVIEW OF PRISONS
The Northern Ireland Assembly Committee for Justice is to hold an additional meeting today, Monday 28 February 2011 in Room 30, 1.15pm.
Minister of Justice, David Ford; Nick Perry, Permanent Secretary of the Department of Justice and Colin McConnell, Director of the NI Prison Service will attend the meeting to discuss the findings of the interim report by the Prison Review Team and answer questions from Committee Members.
The Committee will receive a further briefing on the interim report at its regular meeting on Thursday 3 March at 2.00pm in The Senate Chamber.
Dame Anne Owers, Head of the Prison Review Team and Members of the Review Team will attend the committee meeting to brief the Committee in more detail on the interim report and answer questions.
