COMMITTEE FOR JUSTICEMEDIA OPERATIONAL NOTICE17 January 2011ATTORNEY GENERAL TO ATTEND ASSEMBLY COMMITTEE FOR JUSTICE MEETINGThe Northern Ireland Assembly Committee for Justice is to hold an additional meeting tomorrow, Tuesday 18 January 2011 in Room 29 . The meeting is scheduled for 3.00pm-5.30pm. The Attorney General for Northern Ireland will attend the meeting at 3.00pm to give the Committee his views on Clause 34 of the Justice Bill. Clause 34 places a duty on NI Departments and public bodies to have due regard to crime, anti-social behaviour and community safety implications in exercising their duties and to do what they reasonably can to enhance community safety.
