SUMMER RECESS DATES

In his letter of 3 July 2006 to the Speaker, the Secretary of State has determined that the Assembly should rise at close of business on Friday 7 July and should return on Monday, 4 September 2006.

TWO-MINUTE SILENCE

A two-minute silence will be observed across the United Kingdom at 12.00 noon on Friday, 7 July 2006, to mark the first anniversary of the London bombings. An announcement will be made in Parliament Buildings at that time drawing this to the attention of those who wish to observe the period of silence.
