Assembly Committee to visit Regeneration Projects in Newry

The Northern Ireland Assembly Committee for Social Development will visit community development and urban regeneration projects in Newry on Thursday 10 March. The visit will be hosted by the Community Network Development Forum and showcase its work with the local Community Association.

The Committee will also hold its regular meeting at Ballybot House, a building owned and managed by the Confederation of Community Groups. The Committee will receive briefings on the Carer’s Allowance Bill and the review of the Housing Executive. The meeting is open to the public.
