Members noted papers which were tabled for consideration later in the meeting.

9.37am Mr Bresland joined the meeting.

2. Briefing from the Utility Regulator on its cost and performance report on Northern Ireland Water

The Committee received briefing from the Utility Regulator executives, Iain Osborne, Shane Lynch and Jo Aston, on its cost and performance report on Northern Ireland Water, to be published on 14 December 2010.

9.51am Mr Armstrong joined the meeting.
9.52am Mr Robinson joined the meeting.
10.00am Mr Cobain left the meeting; Miss McIlveen took the Chair.
10.05am Mr Armstrong left the meeting.

Agreed: The Committee agreed a draft press release to be approved for issue by the Deputy Chairperson.

No other items of business were raised.

4. Date, Time and Place of Next Meeting

The next meeting will be held on Wednesday, 15 December 2010, at 9.30am in Room 21, Parliament Buildings.

The Deputy Chairperson adjourned the meeting at 10.24am.
