The Chairperson opened the meeting at 10.08am in public session.

2. Consideration of the Committee’s Final Response to the Draft Education Budget 2011-15

The Committee considered a draft Final Committee response to the Committee for Finance and Personnel on the Draft Education Budget 2011-15.

Agreed – the Committee approved the draft Final Response and would forward this to the Committee for Finance and Personnel and to the Minister of Education.

3. Consideration of the Committee’s Response to the DE Early Years (0-6) Strategy Consultation

The Committee considered and agreed a draft Commitee Response to the Department of Education’s consultation on its draft Early Years (0-6) Strategy.

Agreed – the Committee approved the draft Committee Response and would forward this to the Minister of Education.

4. Date and Time of Next Meeting

The next Committee meeting will be on Wednesday 16 February 2011 at 10.30am in Drumragh Integrated College, Omagh.

The Chairperson adjourned the meeting at 10.20am.
