Red Bull Formula One Grand Prix Car Launch 20 March 2010

As part of the Red Bull City Limits Event, the Red Bull Formula One car will be launched at Parliament Buildings on Saturday, 20 March 2010. The car will be accompanied by former Formula One driver, David Coulthard.

All MLAs and invited guests are welcome to attend the event which will be open to those who have registered from 7.30am. Breakfast will be available and will be hosted in the Members’ Dining Room by Barry McElduff, Chair of the Culture, Arts & Leisure Committee.

Access to the estate will be closed from 8am with all invited attendees asked to be in place in Parliament Buildings before that time. Given the health and safety considerations of a high performance vehicle moving at speed, this time restriction will be strictly enforced.

The F1 car will be driven up Prince of Wales Avenue, by David Coulthard, at approx 8.30am and will be available for viewing to the public, at the front of Parliament Buildings, from 9am to 10.30am. The Stormont estate will be opened to all visitors from 9am.

Tours of Parliament Buildings will be available for visitors every 30 minutes from 9am – 11am. Visitors should report to reception to request a tour.
