Change to Deadline for Tabling Amendments to a Bill

Members should note that the Business Committee has agreed that, with effect from 12 May 2009, the deadline for tabling amendments to a Bill will be 9.30 am on the Thursday prior to its Consideration Stage or Further Consideration Stage, as appropriate. The operation of the new arrangement will be reviewed after the summer recess.

Deadlines for amendments to individual Bills will continue to be notified via the annunciator system. Further advice is available from the Bill Office (Tel: (905) 21810).
