ALL PARTY ASSEMBLY GROUP ON CANCER

Members are invited to attend the third meeting of the All Party Group on Cancer.

The focus of this meeting will be to hear a short presentation from Dr Martin Eatock, Consultant Oncologist at the Cancer Centre, Belfast, on the Cost of Cancer Drugs in Northern Ireland .

NOTICE TO MEMBERS

CHANGE OF TIME FOR SUBMISSION OF ORAL QUESTIONS

The Business Committee at its meeting on 10 February 2009 agreed the following switches in Question Time slots requested by Ministers:

• The Office of the First Minister and Deputy First Minister (OFMDFM) is now scheduled to answer Oral Questions on Monday 2 March replacing the slot previously held by the Minister for Regional Development. Oral Questions to the Minister for Regional Development(DRD) will now be held on Monday 9 March.

Accordingly, the deadline for submission of oral questions to OFMDFM is now 1.00pm on 17 February 2009 and the deadline for submission of oral questions to DRD is 1.00pm on 24 February 2009.

• The Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development (DARD) is now scheduled to answer Oral Questions on Monday 30 March replacing the slot previously held by the Minister for Regional Development. Oral Questions to the Minister for Regional Development(DRD) will now be held on Monday 20 April.

Accordingly, the deadline for submission of oral questions to DARD is now 1.00pm on Monday 16 March 2009 and the deadline for submission of oral questions to DRD is 1.00pm on 24 March 2009.

These changes are reflected in a revised rota for oral questions for the period from 10 February 2009 to Easter Recess and in a new rota for oral questions covering the period 20 April 2009 to Summer Recess. Copies of both rotas will be issued to Members in their pigeon-holes.
