Chair of Committee for Education shares his views on the Early Years Children's Strategy debate |

The Assembly Committee for Education put forward a motion today to call on the Minister for Education to develop an integrated Early Years Children’s Strategy and Action Plan. The Committee decided to do this following a large number of concerns raised about the Department’s draft strategy to provide for the social and educational needs of young children from pre-birth to age six.
