The meeting commenced at 10.55am.

1. Titanic Quarter leases

At 10.55 am representatives of Harland and Wolff Group PLC, Harland and Wolff Properties Limited, Titanic Quarter Limited and Fred Olsen Energy ASA joined the meeting. They were:

Sir David Fell,
Mr John Wallace,
Mr Rodney McCullough and
Mr Tom Armstrong.

The Chairman declared the meeting to be in public session.

The representatives gave details of Harland and Wolff's involvement in the negotiations of the Titanic Quarter leases and the development plan agreed with Belfast Harbour Commissioners and replied to Members' questions on the matter.

The evidence session ended at 12.04pm.

At 12.05pm Mr Alan Reilly, from Carson McDowell solicitors gave evidence to the Committee. Mr Reilly is the legal adviser to Belfast Harbour Commissioners on property matters. He answered Members' questions about the Titanic Quarter leases.

The evidence session finished at 12.17pm.

The meeting ended at 12.17pm.
