Officials from the Drinking Water Inspectorate joined the meeting at 10.10 am
2. Briefing from the Drinking Water Inspectorate.
Randall Scott, Chief Inspector of Drinking Water and Margaret Herron briefed the Committee on aspects of drinking water quality compliance.
John McCallister joined the meeting at 10.29 am.
William Irwin joined the meeting at 10.30 am.
Willie Clarke joined the meeting at 10.31 am.
Officials from the Drinking Water Inspectorate left the meeting at 10.32 am.

3. Briefing from Minister Conor Murphy MP MLA.
Conor Murphy, MP MLA, David Stirling, Senior Finance Director and Andrew Grieve briefed the Committee on the Independent Water Review Panel Strand One Report.
The Minister and officials left the meeting at 11.05 am.
Meeting adjourned 11.05 am.

4. Draft Minutes.
The minutes of the meeting of 26 September 2007 were agreed.
5. Matters Arising.
Members noted matters arising from meeting of 26 September 2007.
6. Subordinate Legislation.
The Committee was content with the policy merits of the SL1s noted at its meeting of 26 September 2007, and noted the receipt of six new SL1s.
7. Correspondence
Members noted correspondence.
8. Any Other Business.
The Committee decided to meet again on Wednesday 17 October 2007 at 10.30 am in Magee College.
