2. Minutes of the meeting on 28 January 2010
Agreed : The minutes of the last meeting were agreed.
3. Evidence Session on the Northern Ireland Audit Office Report ‘The Review of the Gateway Process’.
Agreed: The Committee agreed to request further information from the Department if required as a result of the evidence session.
The Committee took oral evidence on the above report from:
- Mr Paul Priestley, Accounting Officer, Department for Regional Development;
- Mr Geoff Allister, Chief Executive, Roads Service;
- Mr Des Armstrong, Director, Central Procurement Directorate, Department of Finance and Personnel;
- Mr David Carson, Policy and Support Division, Central Procurement; Directorate, Department of Finance and Personnel.

2:50 pm Mr Beggs entered the meeting.
The witnesses answered a number of questions put by the Committee.

4. Evidence Session on the Northern Ireland Audit Office Report ‘The Management of Personal Injury Claims’.
The Committee took oral evidence on the above report from:
- Mr Paul Priestley, Accounting Officer, Department for Regional Development;
- Mr Stephen Murphy, Head of Central Claims Unit, Department for Regional Development;
- Mr Andrew Murray, Director of Network Services, Roads Service;
- Ms Fiona Hamill, Treasury Officer of Accounts, Department of Finance and Personnel.

The witnesses answered a number of questions put by the Committee.
5. Any other business
The Chairperson reminded members to contact the Committee team if they wished to participate in a media pre-brief in the afternoon of 10 February for the publication of its next report.
Agreed: that the Committee have a working lunch on 11 February to address its forward work plan.

The next meeting will be held on Thursday, 11 February 2010 at 12:30 pm in Room 152, Parliament Buildings.
