2.1 Statement - British-Irish Council Housing Sector Meeting

The Minister for Social Development, Mr Alex Attwood, made a statement to the Assembly regarding the British-Irish Council Housing Sector meeting, held in St. Mary’s University College in Belfast on 16 February 2011, following which he replied to questions.

2.2 Further Consideration Stage - Housing (Amendment) Bill (NIA Bill 32/09)

The Minister for Social Development, Mr Alex Attwood, moved the Further Consideration Stage of the Housing (Amendment) Bill (NIA Bill 32/09).

No amendments were tabled to the Bill.

Bill NIA 32/09 stood referred to the Speaker for consideration in accordance with section 10 of the Northern Ireland Act 1998.

2.3 Further Consideration Stage - Clean Neighbourhoods and Environment Bill (NIA Bill 31/09)

The Minister of the Environment, Mr Edwin Poots, moved the Further Consideration Stage of the Clean Neighbourhoods and Environment Bill (NIA Bill 31/09).

No amendments were tabled to the Bill.

Bill NIA 31/09 stood referred to the Speaker for consideration in accordance with section 10 of the Northern Ireland Act 1998.

2.4 Final Stage - Wildlife and Natural Environment Bill (NIA Bill 5/09)

The Minister of the Environment, Mr Edwin Poots, moved that the Final Stage of the Wildlife and Natural Environment Bill (NIA Bill 5/09) do now pass.

Debate ensued.

2.5 Final Stage - Sunbeds Bill (NIA Bill 18/09)

The Minister of Health, Social Services and Public Safety, Mr Michael McGimpsey, moved that the Final Stage of the Sunbeds Bill (NIA Bill 18/09) do now pass.

2.6 Final Stage - Budget Bill (NIA Bill 11/10)

The Minister of Finance and Personnel, Mr Sammy Wilson, moved that the Final Stage of the Budget Bill (NIA Bill 11/10) do now pass.

Proposed:

That this Assembly endorses the report from the All Party Group on International Development 'International Development Strategy for Northern Ireland'; and calls on the First Minister and deputy First Minister to incorporate its findings into an international relations strategy and to implement its recommendations.
