2. Executive Committee Business
2.1 Statement - The Way Forward on Tuberculosis (TB)

The Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, Ms Michelle Gildernew, made a statement to the Assembly regarding the way forward on Tuberculosis (TB), following which she replied to questions.

2.2 Consideration Stage - Public Authorities (Reform) Bill (NIA 19/07)

The junior Minister, Rt Hon Jeffrey Donaldson, moved that the Consideration Stage of the Public Authorities (Reform) Bill be agreed.

Debate ensued.

Bill (NIA 19/07) passed Consideration Stage and stood referred to the Speaker.

2.3 Further Consideration Stage - Health and Social Care (Reform) Bill (NIA 21/07)

The Minister of Health, Social Services and Public Safety, Mr Michael McGimpsey, moved that the Further Consideration Stage of the Health and Social Care (Reform) Bill be agreed.

NIA Bill 21/07 passed Further Consideration Stage and stood referred to the Speaker for consideration in accordance with section 10 of the Northern Ireland Act 1998.

2.4 Final Stage - Pensions (No. 2) Bill (NIA 2/08)

The Minister for Social Development, Ms Margaret Ritchie, moved that the Final Stage of the Pensions (No. 2) Bill be agreed.

NIA Bill (2/08) passed Final Stage.

3. Private Members’ Business
3.1 Motion - Carbon Neutrality within the Northern Ireland Assembly

Proposed: That this Assembly calls upon the Assembly Commission to draw up an action plan aimed at ensuring that all the buildings used by the Northern Ireland Assembly achieve carbon neutrality by 2015.

4. The Speaker’s Business
4.1 The Speaker informed Members that a meeting of the North-South Ministerial Council in education sectoral format would be held on 10 December 2008.
5. Private Notice Questions
5.1 Assessment of Public-Health Risk from Beef or Dairy Products

The Minister of Health, Social Services and Public Safety, Mr Michael McGimpsey, replied to a Question to which he had been given private notice, tabled by Mr Tommy Gallagher.

5.2 Contaminated Feed: Cattle and Dairy Animals

The Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, Ms Michelle Gildernew, replied to a Question to which she had been given private notice, tabled by Mr Thomas Burns.

6. Adjournment

Mrs Mary Bradley indicated that she no longer wished to raise the matter on the redeployment of Department of Agriculture and Rural Development jobs from Derry/Londonderry.
