In attendance for the public evidence session at 10.53am: Mr B McClure and Mr S Pearson, Rating Policy Branch.
The Committee agreed to open the meeting in private at 10.22am.
1. Chairperson's Business
1.1. The Chairperson discussed matters arising from the meeting of the Causeway sub-Committee held on 20 June.
Agreed - that three members of the sub-Committee would attend the forthcoming meeting of the National Trust and Seaport Investments.
2. Energy Report and Draft Energy Bill
Agreed - to defer these issues to the next Committee meeting.
Mr McClarty joined the meeting at 10.52am.
The meeting went into public session at 10.53am.
3. Rating Policy Review
Representatives from Rating Policy Branch gave a presentation on the Review of Rating Policy to the Committee and answered questions raised by Members.
Dr McDonnell left the meeting at 11.10am.
Mr McMenamin joined the meeting at 11.23am.
4. Date of next meeting
4.1. The next meeting of the Committee will be held on Wednesday 26 June 2002 at 10.15am in Room 144, Parliament Buildings.
The meeting closed at 11.26am.
