Committee Listens To Education Groups

The Northern Ireland Assembly’s Committee for Education is holding its second informal reception in Parliament Buildings on Monday 18 February 2008. Over 20 different schools and organisations with an interest in education will have the opportunity to meet with Committee members to discuss their issues and concerns.

The Chairperson of the Committee, Mr Sammy Wilson MP, said:

“The Committee held its first informal reception in July last year, and the feedback from both members and attendees was very positive. The Committee welcomes this chance to engage directly with such groups. This reception is an excellent opportunity to hear from the large number of organisations who had asked to meet with the Committee”.
