ASSEMBLY COMMITTEE VISITS ANTRIM LIBRARY

The Northern Ireland Assembly Committee for Culture, Arts and Leisure will visit Antrim Library on Thursday 25 November.

During the visit, the Committee will receive a briefing from Libraries NI (the body that governs libraries). The Department for Culture, Arts and Leisure and Foras na Gaelige will update the Committee on the restructuring of the Irish language core-funded groups. In addition, the Committee will hear from the Northern Ireland Human Rights Commission on an Irish Language Act.

Members of the public and the media are welcome to attend the open session which begins at 10.50am.

MEDIA OPPORTUNITIES

There will be media opportunities, including photographs, with the Committee members during their visit between 10.15-10.30am.
