The meeting opened in public session at 11.18 a.m.

2. Northern Ireland Members of the European Parliament

The Northern Ireland Members of the European Parliament, Ms Bairbre de Brun, Mrs Diane Dodds and Mr Jim Nicholson joined the meeting at 11.19 a.m.

The Northern Ireland Members of the European Parliament, Ms Bairbre de Brun, Mrs Diane Dodds and Mr Jim Nicholson briefed the Committee on upcoming priorities in Europe. A question and answer session followed.

Mr Elliott declared an interest as a self-employed farmer.

The Northern Ireland Members of the European Parliament, Ms Bairbre de Brun, Mrs Diane Dodds and Mr Jim Nicholson left the meeting at 12.24 p.m.

3. Date, time and place of next meeting

The next meeting will be held in Room 30 on Wednesday 3 November 2010 at 2 p.m.

The Chairperson adjourned the meeting at 12.25 p.m.
