Northern Ireland Assembly Code of Conduct and Guide to the Rules relating to the Conduct of Members

The new Northern Ireland Assembly Code of Conduct and Guide to the Rules relating to the Conduct of Members came into effect yesterday. All Members should have now received a copy of the new Code and Guide and a copy of the Members’ Interests Registration Form. This form should be completed and returned to the Clerk of Standards by 9 November 2009.

Presentations on the new requirements of the Code will be made to each of the parties. In addition, Members may also seek advice and guidance from the Clerk of Standards, Paul Gill (Room 284 or extension 20333) on the registration and declaration of interests.
