1. Presentation: DARD – SEAFISH Liabilities
The following departmental officials joined the meeting:
Liam McKibben -Grade 5 - Assistant Secretary; and
Ian Humes - Grade 7 - Principal Officer.

The Chairperson welcomed Mr Roy Beggs Jnr as Deputy Chairperson to the Committee. Members also conveyed their thanks to Mr Tom Elliott for his services to the Committee.

Agreed: The Committee noted correspondence received from the Committee for the Environment in relation to a consultation on the future of bus operator licensing in Northern Ireland.Members agreed to forward any comments to the Clerk by 6th October 2010.
5. Presentation :DARD – Belfast Lough Cockle Fishery
The following officials joined the meeting:

7. SR – 2010/307: The Plant Health (Amendment No.3) Order (NI) 2010
Agreed: That the Committee for Agriculture and Rural Development has
considered the Plant Health (Amendment No.3) Order (NI) 2010 and has no objection to the rule.
8. SR – 2010/310: The Foyle Area (Licensing of Oyster Fishing) (Amendment) Regulations 2010
Agreed: That the Committee for Agriculture and Rural Development has
considered the Foyle Area (Licensing of Oyster Fishing) (Amendment) Regulations 2010 and has no objection to the rule.
